There are many countries in the world which do not have basic facilities or education, wealth as much as India. Yet every year the players there are tops in jambazi competitions which are called real sports! And the government takes care of them. While in India, players who win gold for the country face such a plight. They fight against all the challenges and situations, but if their career is on the verge of ruin due to the elusiveness of politics, who will be held responsible? Even today, women athletes are fighting for their self-respect, while the government is busy with a committee of inquiry. Sexual harassment of athletes who play for the country and make India proud is the height of lust and perversion. A person who does such an act can be compared to a beast. Yet the bitter fact is that very few incidents are registered in the police book. Many more cases of sexual abuse of people from social organizations to those involved in the law-and-order sector do not reach the police.
